7 Stories for 7 Artists
During the Easter period, the MuSA – Museo Virtuale della Scultura e dell’Architettura – organizes a visual installation comprised of video-interviews and creative tones in a tribute to 7 artists who live and work in Pietrasanta.
The video-interviews will be presented on the museum’s large screens in a suggestive ambience characterized by a special atmosphere that will stimulate guests’ imagination.
In the words of the protagonists, the dedication to transmitting and disseminating figurative art, the desire to represent society, daily life, the fragility of existence and the strength of the material through their work. Tales of life stories, bonds and collaborations that have led to a professional and personal growth, testimony of the importance and the contribution that the laboratories and craftsmen offer the territory.
In their works, the artists tell about different situations, spurred by their imagination and their instinct, with the intention of establishing an initial rapport with the viewer who will then be free to observe, reflect and elaborate personal concepts around what he or she is viewing.
The protagonist is always the same, noble element: marble. Seductive marble, sentiment, marble as driver of transformation in art and interpreter of the contemporary world.
