The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is one of the largest museums in the United States and its collection, which includes more than 450,000 works of art, is one of the most comprehensive in the Americas. The museum was founded in 1870 and has been at its current site since 1909. It is associated with a Fine Arts school, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, as well as the Nagoya/Boston Museum of Fine Arts in Nagoya, Japan.
