The Modern Art Gallery is housed in Pitti Palace. Its vast collection presents a complete panorama of the artistic period ranging from the end of the eighteenth century to the early twentieth century, for the most part focused on Italian painting but also with a few important sculptures from the same period and important works by non-Italian artists.
