The Kunsthaus Museum houses works belonging to the late Gothic period of Zurich's artistic tradition, paintings from the Golden Age of Dutch painting, examples of Flemish painting, Italian Baroque and Venetian 18th Century. The graphic collection includes about 80,000 works spanning from the 15th century to contemporary art. The Kunsthaus has an excellent collection of classics of photography and since 1979 continuously collects examples of video-art.
