Tariffe Sala Musa

The Ludwig Museum was founded in 1976 with the gift of around 350 works of modern art by Peter and Irene Ludwig to the city of Cologne, and today it includes the most representative trends of the 20th century. Its collection includes Expressionist works and others belonging to Modernism. The museum also features an extensive collection of Russian Avant-garde paintings from the era 1905 to 1935 as well as American Pop Art works. In 1994 the Ludwig Museum acquires, through another donation, 90 works by Pablo Picasso becoming – after Barcelona and Paris – the third-largest Picasso collection in the world. The cultural centre offers a representative view of all the trends, materials and techniques. Since 2000, the Museum has been particularly devoted to collecting and presenting technical media in the area of contemporary art.
