Tariffe Sala Musa

The Museo Michelangiolesco is located in the fortress of Caprese Michelangelo and is divided between three main buildings: the Palazzo del Podestà, the Palazzo Clusini and the Corte Alta. The original nucleus of the museum, which was founded in 1875, revolves around the Palazzo del Podestà, formerly the residence of the Florentine Podestà, including Ludovico di Leonardo Buonarroti Simoni, Michelangelo's father. Over time, the museum expanded and today presents five main thematic nuclei: "La rocca di Caprese e la sua storia" (The fortress of Caprese and its history), "Michelangelo Buonarroti", "Giovanni Santini", "La piccola scultura italiana del XIX secolo" (Small-scale nineteenth-century Italian sculpture) and "La scultura del XX secolo" (Twentieth-century sculpture).
