Tariffe Sala Musa

Among the most popular contemporary art galleries in the world and the most-visited location in London, right before the British Museum, the Tate Modern Gallery hosts a permanent collection dedicated to Avant-garde trends of the beginning of the 20th century. Cubism and Futurism, works dating to the Surrealist period, European and American paintings and sculptures from the 1940s and '50s and the revolutionary trend of Arte Povera born in the 1960s. Over 60,000 are the works exhibited on rotation during special exhibitions. Tate's success is also partly due to the building housing it – the Bankside Power Station, an electrical power station built between 1947 and 1963, closed down in 1981 and turned into a gallery by Swiss architects Herzog and De Meuron, maintaining the central chimney of the old structure, adding a two-storey high glass roof beam.
