“In my sculptures I use the empty space as material, thus making the marble works very thin, light and delicate”
John Bizas was born on Chios island in Greece in 1980. From early age he was interested in fine arts and soon became involved in sculpture. The material he prefers is mainly marble, and this passion made him move to Italy in 2008. He studied at the Accademia d’Arte in Florence and in 2011 completed his studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Carrara, where he lives and works today.
